Who We Are

School of Style is an online education platform focused on providing emerging professionals in the fashion & beauty industries with all of the tools they need to succeed. With our upcoming certification program and extensive catalogue of elective courses in development, across the world of celebrity, fashion, makeup, and hair styling, students learn what it takes from real people at the top of their industry. Following an acquisition, we have recently relaunched the SoS platform, led by one of the biggest celebrity fashion stylists in the industry, and are looking for a savvy, creative, data-driven Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our growing team.

Role Description:

The role of Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager at School of Style will be essential to our success and growth as a company. We are looking for someone highly creative, organized, and detail-oriented who is passionate about storytelling and community building. In this role, your day-to-day will focus on content strategy, balancing beauty and function, driving brand awareness, and contributing to the company’s goals for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute measurable content strategy and manage content calendars across all relevant platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and all School of Style-owned and operated community channels.
  • Ideate and produce content in accordance with our social strategy, aimed at driving brand awareness, traffic, lead generation, and sales, including writing polished, thoughtful, and engaging social copy.
  • Analyze relevant metrics and implement data-driven strategies to meet our goals, making adjustments and recommendations to optimize performance over time.
  • Develop influencer or ambassador strategy to cultivate growth and loyalty in our digital community.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience creating content and growing social channels at a brand, agency, startup, or editorial media outlet.
  • A data-driven decision-maker, using insights to understand what content is performing best and strategizing how to deliver more of it.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, or other video and photo editing software.
  • Experience working with relevant web and social analytics software.
  • Naturally curious with respect to trends in consumer behavior and innovations in content creation.
  • A self-starter who has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, meeting clear deliverables and timelines.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and incredibly detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills with a knack for storytelling.
  • Experience working with Notion and Klaviyo is ideal.
